Company History

More than 26 years ago, a group of local pediatricians, led by Robert G. Graw, M.D., realized that working parents needed care for their children in the evenings and on weekends. In 1989, the group opened Nighttime Pediatrics in Annapolis, Maryland.

Offering after-hours medical care between 5pm and midnight for 365 days a year, Nighttime soon became the trusted destination for childrens health beyond regular doctors hours while setting the highest standards for quality and service.

1994

Nighttime opens a second Care Center in Pasadena, Maryland.

1996

Nighttime's Care Center in Pasadena changes its name to Nighttime Pediatrics and parents too when parents of patients began requesting medical treatment for themselves.

1997

A third Care Center in Rockville, Maryland opens, becoming the first urgent care center of its kind in Montgomery County, Maryland.

1998

Nighttime changes its name to Nighttime Pediatrics & adult care too! in response to the growing demand for after-hours care for more than just younger patients and their parents.

2002

The Village at Waugh Chapel in Gambrills, Maryland, becomes home to the fourth Care Center.

2006

Nighttime Pediatrics & adult care too! opens its doors at the Howard County Health Park in Columbia, Maryland, marking the third county in the companys geographic reach.

2007

Nighttime expands its hours to open at noon to be meet the increase in patient visits.
Later that year, Nighttimes hours again change to open 11am, still closing at midnight.
Dr. Graw commissions the Mobile Care Center to deliver Nighttimes goal of caring for everyone, every day in communities throughout the region. Staffed by physicians, nurses and other health care providers, the Mobile Care Center can be found at health and community events, and also is available to assist the general public during states of emergency.

2008

Nighttime opens its Gaithersburg location, revealing an innovative new site design. Adding to the quality of care that patients have come to expect, the newest sites have unique characteristics to soothe stressed parents, while touches of fun and sparkle appeal to younger patients.

2010

Nighttime unveils a vibrant new identity to highlight its purpose of providing urgent care services to patients of all ages. Under the new name of Righttime Medical Care, the company remains steadfast in its commitment to the same high-quality, convenient and affordable care for which it had always been known, but under an identity that would unify and strengthen its expansion.
Righttime Medical Care opens a Care Center just down the street from Arundel Mills Mall, the most visited tourist attraction in the state.
Righttime expands its hours for all locations from 9am to midnight.

2011

Righttimes first Care Center in Annapolis, receives a stellar facelift that doubles the space. Unique features include a soothing water wall, comfortable private seating, an outdoor seasonal wellness garden, engaging colors, textures and art and environmentally conscious features such as LED lighting, non-toxic paints and recycled materials.

2012

The growing community of Olney, Maryland, is home to the latest Righttime Care Center.
Righttime Medical Care launches its concussion awareness program, HeadFirst Sports Injury and Concussion Care, in Anne Arundel County, Md. Developed by a group of physicians, neurologists, neuropsychologists, neuro-optometrists, physical therapists, certified athletic trainers and other professionals called the Concussion Consortium, HeadFirst's mission is to educate parents, coaches, athletic directors and students about the growing issue of concussions among youth-athletes. HeadFirst works with public schools and recreational leagues to provide educational materials and ImPACT neurocognitive pre- and post-injury testing. HeadFirst is in the active stages of expanding regionally.

2012 2013

Additional Righttime Care Centers are slated to open in Frederick, Md., and Northern Virginia.
