Job Description
Our client, an upscale Women's Health practice is looking for a WHNP or FNP who can work under indirect supervision and interdependently with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers, and is able to provide a broad range of nurse practitioner services with an emphasis on women’s health. We appreciate an outstanding bedside manner and a desire to help the practice grow by providing the best patient care and most personalized patient experience. This is a different kind of practice, where the explicit focus is on high quality care over volume.

Job Duties:
- Continued Education & Compliance
- Patient Care:
• Provide services to patients including but not limited to ambulatory care, taking health histories, performing assessments, and conducting health education and counseling.
• Assess and manage patients with routine, minor, and acute illnesses; perform assessment/data collection in an ongoing and systematic manner, focus on physiologic, psychological, and cognitive status.
• Develop plans of care based on patient assessment ensuring appropriate follow-up in accordance with established nurse practitioner protocols.
• Clinical Management:
• Triage and refer patients for further care based on severity of illness and symptoms.
• Efficiently and effectively review labs, radiology reports and consults and communicate results and form management plans.
• Adhere to written guidelines/protocol for clinical decision making and management.
• Education & Compliance:
• Help in educating patients 1:1 or small group workshops / videos on common health conditions and concerns.
• Prepare timely, legible, and complete documentation of all patient care as provided by law, regulation, and established policy.
• Apply safety principles as identified by established policy.
• Ensure compliance with legal issues including but not limited to patient confidentiality and risk management; ensure compliance with AAAASF, JCAHO, federal, state, and local regulations.
• Perform other related duties as needed.

- Ensure equipment and facilities are safe and clean, medical equipment is operating properly, and the environment of care is adequate.
- Coordinate correction of deficiencies to ensure compliance with applicable regulations.
