Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist - (CRNA) Locum Tenens
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 8 Hour/Day

Our client provides services to a 300 bed, 12 operating room facility in upstate New York, and is looking for an experienced CRNA that can provide a minimum 6 week commitment. This position offers the ability of flexible shifting, time off as needed up to 2 weeks at a time, and can secure coverage for 3 month blocks in an ongoing capacity. Providers will not need experience in hearts or OB.

A certified registered nurse anesthetist (locum tenens) administers anesthesia in surgeries as required by, or in the absence of, an anesthesiologist physician. A CRNA will look at patient history in a preoperative setting in order to determine an optimal course of action, choosing the techniques and drugs that best suit the patient's unique physiology and medical history. During surgery, it is the CRNAs job to administer anesthesia and manage the patient's reactions accordingly.
