Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist - (CRNA) Locum Tenens
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 24 Hour On-Call

We're currently recruiting for a CRNA in Iowa! Must be comfortable with OB, orthopedics, and total joint cases. Lodging and mileage are provided. Provider will work scheduled cases and is then on call (in town) for the rest of the time. Solo assignment.

A certified registered nurse anesthetist (locum tenens) administers anesthesia in surgeries as required by, or in the absence of, an anesthesiologist physician. A CRNA will look at patient history in a preoperative setting in order to determine an optimal course of action, choosing the techniques and drugs that best suit the patient's unique physiology and medical history. During surgery, it is the CRNAs job to administer anesthesia and manage the patient's reactions accordingly.
