NaphCare has exceptional opportunities for Part-time & Per Diem Licensed Practical Nurses (LPNs) for the day & evening shifts to join our healthcare team at the Pierce County Jail in the Tacoma, WA area. We are seeking LPNs that have a passion to provide great care and want to be a part of our mission.
Description:
NaphCare LPNs administer prescribed nursing care to all patients in a correctional facility while maintaining a safe and secure clinical work area. Our LPNs perform a variety of duties to include, but not limited to the recognition of signs/symptoms with knowledge of action required for a potential emergency and treats patients according to established procedures and refers to medical care providers or RN for intervention. The successful candidate will be a graduate of an Accredited program for Practical or Vocational Nursing, hold current license, valid CPR card and have a minimum of 1 year clinical experience in a healthcare setting, preferably correctional healthcare.
