Job Description
Federal Staffing Resources is seeking a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to provide services at Sheppard Air Force Base in Wichita Falls.
This is an administrative lead position and the LPN will not be doing direct patient care.
The ideal candidate should possess:
-Shall have a minimum 3 years nursing experience and additional basic knowledge in areas of anatomy, physiology, infection control, and management concepts.
-Possesses valid, unrestricted LPN license
-Possess a current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification
-Principles of excellent customer service; TRICARE benefits; quality control and risk management; medical terminology, medical forms and records management; HIPAA guidelines for release of medical information; general medical and legal ethics; excellent communications skills
-Strong organizational skills; and computer operations, including operational skills with Microsoft applications (Windows, Word, Excel,); personnel shall understand the importance of meeting deadlines/suspense’s.
