(Archived) LPN Urgent Care Position in Douglassville

Rapidly expanding urgent care network is seeking FT/PT LPNs with emergency room experience for immediate hire. We are currently interviewing experienced Nurses for our Douglassville location. Our Urgent Care offers LPNs the opportunity to practice direct patient care in a fast paced, challenging, acute care setting where your skills and education will be utilized to their maximum potential. Clinical skills include:
-Leadership Skills and self-motivation with the ability to work independently performing approved tasks and skills without direct supervision.
-Strong phlebotomy and IV skills required.
-Assisting in bedside procedures, laceration repair, I&D procedures.
-Strong professional verbal and written communication skills are a must.
-Performing venipuncture, injections
-Assisting in bedside procedures, laceration repair, I&D procedures.
-Interviewing patients, rooming patients, recording vital signs/medical data, recording information in EMR, operating EKG and other diagnostic equipment; preparing treatment rooms and patients for examination.
-Cleaning and sterilizing instruments, maintaining inventory of medical supplies and materials and performing other site procedures as directed.

Requirements:
-Graduate of an accredited program for LPNs is required
-Current, Unrestricted, Active PA License
-BLS Certification is required.
-Current PPD or Chest x-ray
-Ability to read, write and speak English
-Ability to pass criminal background check and drug screening
-Acute Care Experience, a PLUS
-Bilingual; Spanish a PLUS
