Family Practice Nurse Practitioner - (FNP) Locum Tenens
New locum tenen opportunity for a primary care NP or PA starting in September in North Carolina. This assignment is at an outpatient clinic who is needing a family medicine or internal medicine advanced practice provider to help cover one of their outpatient clinics while they recruit for a new permanent provider. This assignment offers a Monday-Friday schedule with no call. There are an average of 20-25 scheduled patients per day, EMR system (EClincal Works) and a full support staff. This need is expected to go from September 19th through at least November- may extend as a permanent provider has not been identified yet. A family practice nurse practitioner (FNP)(locum tenens) focuses on the broad and complete care necessary in primary care settings. FNPs support patients from infancy through adulthood. A family practice nurse practitioner is trained to provide care to patients with acute illness such as headaches and bronchitis, and chronic illness such as high blood pressure and diabetes. In addition, FNPs provide support for preventative services, disease management, and illness prevention. A family nurse practitioner will practice in a multitude of settings to include; clinics, hospitals, and medical offices.
