Family Practice Nurse Practitioner - (FNP) Locum Tenens
StartDate: 11/10/2014Available Shifts: 8 Hour/Day

Primary care clinic in Bristol, CT is seeking a locum tenens Family Nurse Practitioner to provide coverage until a permanent provider can be found. This job starts as soon as possible for at least 3 months. Schedule is Monday- Friday from 8:30am-5pm, clinic work only. Board Certification, DEA, CSR and BLS are required. Locums provider must be familiar with EMR and site can provide additional training. Please contact Staff Care for more information about this position today!

A family practice nurse practitioner (FNP)(locum tenens) focuses on the broad and complete care necessary in primary care settings. FNPs support patients from infancy through adulthood. A family practice nurse practitioner is trained to provide care to patients with acute illness such as headaches and bronchitis, and chronic illness such as high blood pressure and diabetes. In addition, FNPs provide support for preventative services, disease management, and illness prevention. A family nurse practitioner will practice in a multitude of settings to include; clinics, hospitals, and medical offices.

Bristol is a town in Connecticut with a proximity to other cities including Hartford, New Haven, and Waterbury. This means that professional sports, art museums and cultural activities are always nearby. A place to visit is the Watch and Clock Museum, as well as the New England Carousel Museum which is keen to acquire and restore old carousels, while preserving the operating carousels and carousel memorabilia for the education and pleasure of the public at large.
