Primary Care Nurse Practitioner - (NP-Primary Care) Locum Tenens
The Indian Health Center in Oklahoma is in need of a Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant for their outpatient clinic. The position would start as soon as credentialing is complete and continue for a minimum of three months with the option to extend. The NP or PA will work Monday through Friday, 8am to 5pm with no weekends and no call. The average patient load is 15-20 patients per day and the clinician will see all ages. Any State license is accepted for this opportunity.
A primary care nurse practitioner (locum tenens) diagnoses and treat patients, order diagnostics, conduct physical exams, interpret x-rays and other tests, and also educate patients on maintaining proper health. In addition to a nursing license, a primary care nurse practitioner holds a certification as a nurse practitioner, and typically a master's degree. A primary care nurse practitioner works with physicians on duty to help evaluate and treat patients.

BLS, ACLS, DEA required prior to start
