(Archived) Geriatric Internal Medicine Nurse Practitioner (APRN) - Glastonbury, CT

Full-Time or Part-Time Nurse Practitioners (APRN / NP) wanted for several Geriatric Nursing Home positions in Glastonbury, Connecticut. The Nurse Practitioners will be employed directly by a Connecticut-based, fast growing Multispecialty group that is currently hiring 6 Nurse Practitioners to work within contracted Nursing Homes to provide Geriatric Primary Care / Internal Medicine. Experience in outpatient Geriatric Medicine, Nursing Home, Assisted Living, or Long-Term Care facilities is preferable, though all APRN candidates will be considered. These positions are available immediately.

The Nurse Practitioners will:
1) Work exclusively in the Nursing Home setting to provide consults, follow-ups, medication management, prescriptions, and care coordination for Geriatric patients.
2) Act as the sole provider for Geriatric patients within this setting, but will have the ability to collaborate with attending Physicians if and when necessary.
3) (May) be required to work in 2 or more Nursing Home facilities located within close proximity to each other.
4) This is an opportunity for the APRN to make extraordinary compensation by becoming a sole provider and essentially running their own medical practice with the benefits and backing of an established Multispecialty group.
5) Become proficient with EMR (Electronic Medical Records).

Days / Hours / Compensation / Benefits:
- Days / Hours will be very flexible (generally M-F / 9am-2pm)
- Full and Part-Time Nurse Practitioner providers can set their own schedules based on their availability
- Call will be required from Monday (7am) - Saturday (7am)
Compensation for this position can range up to 240K / year for motivated, Full-Time Nurse Practitioner providers
