Job Description
Full-Time Nurse Practitioner (APRN) wanted to travel to 5-7 Assisted Living Facilities per week in Eastern North Carolina (Moyock, Roanoke Rapids, Elizabeth City Areas). *SPECIAL CONSIDERATION WILL BE GIVEN TO THOSE WITH BOTH NC AND VIRGINIA LICENSES. Exact geography is negotiable based on availability of the candidate. The patients’ consulting physicians (both primary care doctors and specialists) are available 24/7 to provide guidance and answer questions the practitioner may have.
The Nurse Practitioner (APRN) will:
-Provide care for Geriatric Primary Care patients at the employer's contracted Assisted Living Facilities for 4 days throughout the week.
-See Approximately 15-25 patients a day.
-Provide Geriatric Primary Care (consults, diagnosis, treatment, follow ups).
-Coordinate with patients' specialists.
-Provide patient and family education when necessary.
Days / Hours / Compensation / Benefits:
-Schedule will be determined by APRN based on availability
-4 Clinical Days Required
-5th day will be a non-clinical "office day" from the clinician's home
