Internal Medicine Nurse Practitioner - (IMNP) Locum Tenens
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 8 Hour/Day

Multiple Certified Nurse Practitioners needed for Home Health assessments in Mississippi for an assignment starting in July ongoing. This opportunity offers a full time & part time schedules with 8hour days. The Nurse Practitioner acts as part of the clinical operations team and provides assessments and direct patient care in skilled nursing care facilities or patient home settings depending on the nature of the assignment.

An internal medicine nurse practitioner (locum tenens) helps physicians with treating and preventing a large range of illnesses. They help with the patient treatment process from the initial consultation to prescribing medication. An internal medicine nurse practitioner also will order lab work, evaluate test and x-ray results, reviewing charts, and prescribing the best method of treatment available. They generally work within hospital, emergency, or private office settings.
