Internal Medicine Nurse Practitioner - (IMNP) Locum Tenens

Certified Family Practice or Internal Medicine Nurse Practitioner needed in a Rhode Island outpatient facility for a job opportunity starting in January 2015. This assignment offers 8hr days 4 or 5 day a week schedule no weekends, no call. The provider must be well-versed in a primary care setting

An internal medicine nurse practitioner (locum tenens) helps physicians with treating and preventing a large range of illnesses. They help with the patient treatment process from the initial consultation to prescribing medication. An internal medicine nurse practitioner also will order lab work, evaluate test and x-ray results, reviewing charts, and prescribing the best method of treatment available. They generally work within hospital, emergency, or private office settings.

Required Qualifications
RI Licensed Nurse Practitioner - (Family Practice or Internal Medicine) needed 01/01/2015- Ongoing. SCHEDULE: 4 or 5 x days a week: 9a-5p - (Client flexible) - No call. Type of patient seen: Adults, Adolescents, 10-15% PEDS, 16-20ppd, 90% Scheduled patients seen *Will consider Adult certified providers. Pediatrician is on site. Typical Cases Seen: Sick & Well Visits, Physicals, and Follow ups. Support Staff: NP, RN's, Social Workers, and MA's. EMR Charting: NextGen (Will Train)
