(Archived) Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner

We are seeking a Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner, who enjoys inpatient psychiatric care and is willing to work in/on a fast paced admitting unit where they may receive 10 to 12 admissions per month and will be discharging a similar number each month. The average length of stay on the unit is about 30 days. The position includes a competitive salary and benefits with housing provided on campus. Will consider new grad with strong psych experience as an RN. On-campus housing available without charge for participating in the call rotation; no charge for utilities; hospital maintenance staff perform repairs.

Minimum Qualifications (Education and Experience):

· Masters’ Degree as an Advanced Practice Nurse

· ANCC certification as Psychiatric- Mental Health Nurse Practitioner or Psychiatric -Mental Health Clinical Nurse Specialist

· Licensed as APN in the state of Montana; prescriptive authority with assignment of DEA number.

Two years experience providing psychiatric patient care as an APN preferred
