Nurse Practitioner - (NP) Locum Tenens
StartDate: 08/08/2013Available Shifts: 8 Hour/Day
Certified - Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant needed in an upstate New York Facility for an opportunity starting in August. The assignment is for 1 full time evening shift with the option to extend. The provider must be comfortable working in an Occupational Medicine setting.
A nurse practitioner (NP)(locum tenens) is a registered nurse (RN) with specialization in a specific area of medicine, such as family medicine or pediatrics. A nurse practitioner has completed a master’s program in nursing and has earned board certification in a chosen specialty. An NP is able to provide a wide range of medical services, from conducting physical examinations and taking down patient history to performing more complex procedures such as bone marrow biopsies.
Required Qualifications
Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant (Occ Med) needed - August 8th (May Extend) - Schedule: 3:30p - 10:30p, no call. Certified Midlevel, 100% Adult Med, 100% schedule, 10ppd. Typical Cases: Pre-employment exams, Annual follow ups, Work-Comp injuries. Support Staff: 1 x LPN, Office Staff.
