Job Description
The Outpatient Behavioral Center affiliated with outstanding hospital system is searching for a Nurse Practitioner to join the staff in Adult Mental Health. The Nurse Practitioner has responsiblities for managing, diagnosing and treating most common, and many chronic illnesses of patients in the practice. This position focuses largely on health maintenance, disease prevention, counseling and patient education in the behavioral health setting. Interested candidates must possess a Masters of Science in Nursing from an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program by the American Nurse Association, holding a current Illinois Nurse Practitioner license, DEA license, and National Certification as Nurse Practitioner, or be eligible to obtain.Mental health experience as a RN or NP.
