(Archived) Family Nurse Practitioner

De Paul Treatment Centers serves the greater Portland community by providing drug and alcohol addiction treatment services. We are currently seeking a full-time Nurse Practitioner to provide medical services to our clients at our youth & adult sites.

De Paul Treatment Centers is a dual diagnosis substance abuse treatment center providing the full continuum of care. Responsibilities include: screening clients for medical appropriateness prior to admission; performing history & physicals; performing risk assessments for acute and chronic illnesses; treatment of urgent and chronic ailments; medication management of clients in the detoxification and residential program; medical care of clients in our detox program; identification and treatment of withdrawal symptoms; clients providing staff & client education and health promotion; rotating week-end and after hours on-call support; providing support as needed to members of the Medical team; collaborating with a multi-disciplinary team to support and encourage the client during addictions treatment.

Position requires ANP, FNP, or other qualified NP licensure. DEA license required. Experience with alcohol/drug abuse and detox/withdrawal preferred.

Position requires 2+ years’ continuous sobriety, if recovering.
