• Specialty Requested: Neonatal NP
• Start Date: ASAP (pending hospital privileges)
• End Date: Ongoing
• Type of Clinic (MSG, SSG, Solo, CH): Hospital
• Hospital/Facility Size (# beds/exam rooms): 15-bed Level II NICU / 20-bed Level III NICU
• Schedule: 9 and 12-hour Shifts during the week and on weekends.
• Patient Volume: The hospitals average 5,000 - 6,000 annual deliveries combined
• Patient Ages: Neonates
• IP/OP: Inpatient
• Support Staff: Provider will work with a Team of (4) Neonatologists covering 2 hospitals (Level II and Level III).
• Responsibilities (ICU, Vents, OB, etc.): Must be able to function independently and have excellent resuscitation and management skills as they will be in the hospital with Physician back up from home on some night shifts and some weekend shifts, and 100% of the time at the Level II.
• Charting/Dictation: Paper Charting with EMR for Lab & Imaging
• BC/BE Requirement: NNP Graduate with at least 3 years of NICU experience
• Active NY License
• NRP Certification & Life Support is required.
