Job Description
Large Orthopedic practice has an opportunity for a NP to join their practice. This position is both clinical and surgical and duties will include comprehensive physical assessment, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, performing diagnostic procedures & assisting in the operating room as delegated by supervising surgeon, Upper & lower extremity post-operative casting & fracture casting, simple reductions, splinting, injections, and non-operative care as well as providing patient care in the outpatient (clinical) setting by performing independent post-operative care. The office hours are Monday-Friday 8:30 to 5:30 with 3 days per week in clinic and 2 days in surgery. The Call rotation 2 out of 4 nights a week Monday-Thursday; no weekends or holidays; weekend rounding depending on census to be shared amongst NP/PA's and Physician.
