Job Description
Large Orthopedic practice has an opportunity for an NP to join their practice. This position is both clinical and surgical and duties will include comprehensive physical assessment, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, performing diagnostic procedures & assisting in the operating room as delegated by supervising surgeon, Upper & lower extremity post-operative casting & fracture casting, simple reductions, splinting, injections, and non-operative care as well as providing patient care in the outpatient (clinical) setting by performing independent post-operative care. The office hours are Monday-Friday 8:30 to 5:30 with 3 days per week in clinic and 2 days in surgery. The Call rotation 2 out of 4 nights a week Monday-Thursday; no weekends or holidays; weekend rounding depending on census to be shared amongst NP/PA's and Physician.
