Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner - (Psych Nurse - Psych NP) Locum Tenens

Chicago area clinic is seeking a Locum Tenens Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner to provide coverage beginning August 9th and continuing at least through the end of September. EMR experience is preferred, the site is using Centricity. Local candidates are preferred, but travel may be considered. A psychiatric nurse practitioner(locum tenens) provides therapeutic and psychiatric services to patients in need. These practitioners may work in a wide range of sectors, including as social workers, pastors, or addiction counselors. Mental health practitioners diagnose and assess their patients' needs and work to create effective plans for rehabilitation, conducting therapy sessions, prescribing medicine, and making referrals as necessary.
