Job Description
Small out-patient center is in need for an NP to handle psychiatric patients for 3-5 days per week. The client's basic expectation is that you will see 5-6 hours of patients in the average 8 hour day. If you see a bit less than this but help out in other ways, they will still be ok. Usually NP’s see continuing patients for ½ hour and new patients for an hour. The candidate will see the occasional very young patients as well but the bulk of our prescribing is for 14 and over. They aren't very concerned about productivity at first – instead they prefer seeing the candidate as a long term commitment.
There are no call duties.
