Job Description
I'm working with a organization that is looking to add a Behavioral Health Nurse Practitioner. The position is located less than a hour from Des Moines. It is a area known for it's outdoor recreation. The position details are as follows:
The position -
- Behavioral Health NP position in a program that is recognized as one of the best in the state of Iowa.
- Monday - Friday
- 9:00 - 5:00
- NO CALL
- Typical day consists of about 6 hours of appointments and 2 hours of administrative work.
- Working with one other Nurse Practitioner who specializes in children
- You can see children but are not required to see kids (Adult NP will work)
- Very independent position
- Six other mental health professionals at the clinic as well
- Telemedicine with physician is available
- Salary of $70,000 - $90,000 DOE
- $10,000 sign on bonus
- Full benefit package
- Retirement with employer contributing additional 8% of salary
- Loan repayment eligible
- 4 weeks PTO
- 5 days of CME with $2500 stipened
