Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner - (Psych Nurse - Psych NP) Locum Tenens
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 8 Hour/Day

Northern outpatient behavioral health clinic needs Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner for 1 day week in clinic or tele psychiatry services. Flexible on the 1 day a week 8 hours to be scheduled with children and adolescent patients. Typical cases seen are ADHD and behavioral disorders. Clinic is open Monday through Friday from 8 am to 5 pm. Provider will be supervised by staff Medical Director who is also acting Psychiatrist. For more details call Staff Care, thank you.

A psychiatric nurse practitioner(locum tenens) provides therapeutic and psychiatric services to patients in need. These practitioners may work in a wide range of sectors, including as social workers, pastors, or addiction counselors. Mental health practitioners diagnose and assess their patients' needs and work to create effective plans for rehabilitation, conducting therapy sessions, prescribing medicine, and making referrals as necessary.

Required Qualifications
Prefer active Medicaid number and NPI.
Provider must have a clean background for approval.

Preferred Qualifications
Provider will have to complete CAQH application for MCO approval process.
Active North Carolina license.
