Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner - (Psych Nurse - Psych NP) Locum Tenens
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: Part Time

Texas correctional facility needs a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant to work while they recruit for a permanent provider. Basic correctional physician duties include initial assessments on incoming inmates and follow ups including annual physicals as well as general primary care. Correctional experience preferred but not required. Monday-Friday , 8-4:30pm. Please contact Staff Care for more information!

A psychiatric nurse practitioner(locum tenens) provides therapeutic and psychiatric services to patients in need. These practitioners may work in a wide range of sectors, including as social workers, pastors, or addiction counselors. Mental health practitioners diagnose and assess their patients' needs and work to create effective plans for rehabilitation, conducting therapy sessions, prescribing medicine, and making referrals as necessary.

Required Qualifications
Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner will be required to be child trained and experienced.
