Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner - (Psych Nurse - Psych NP) Locum Tenens
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 8 Hour/Day

Full time out patient Pediatric Psychiatry Nurse Practitioner need in Lake Charles, LA. Must be able to see ages 4-15 dealing mainly with ADD/ADHA evaluations. Must also have a DEA and Prescriptive Authority. This need is long term and will consider 3 or 6 months at a time or even locum to perm. Hours will run Monday thru Friday with Monday, Wednesday, and Thursday 8am-5pm, and, Tuesday 10am-7pm, and Friday 8am-12pm. A psychiatric nurse practitioner(locum tenens) provides therapeutic and psychiatric services to patients in need. These practitioners may work in a wide range of sectors, including as social workers, pastors, or addiction counselors. Mental health practitioners diagnose and assess their patients' needs and work to create effective plans for rehabilitation, conducting therapy sessions, prescribing medicine, and making referrals as necessary.

Required Qualifications
Provider must have experience seeing ages 4-5 dealing mainly with ADD/ADHD evaluations, and must have Prescriptive Authority.
