Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner - (Psych Nurse - Psych NP) Locum Tenens
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 8 Hour/Day

Adult Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner needed in central Iowa for coverage starting the first of December for 3 months. The schedule is Monday - Thursday 8:30a-5p, with night, and weekend call Friday - Sunday 5p-8a. The Practitioner will see both outpatients and inpatients, perform evaluations and med checks. A psychiatric nurse practitioner(locum tenens) provides therapeutic and psychiatric services to patients in need. These practitioners may work in a wide range of sectors, including as social workers, pastors, or addiction counselors. Mental health practitioners diagnose and assess their patients' needs and work to create effective plans for rehabilitation, conducting therapy sessions, prescribing medicine, and making referrals as necessary.

Required Qualifications
Provider must be Certified in Psychiatry, and be DEA and CSR active, as well as have an active National Provider Identification number.

Preferred Qualifications
Provider must have clean and active Iowa state license.
