Job Description
Daily activities will include seeing patients in a forensic or geriatric ward along with a psychiatric MD. They will have full medical and administrative backup. Basically the Psychiatric NP's are there to work in a team environment whereas they diagnose and prescribe on the mental attributes of the patient. No call duties are required. All physical health issues are handled by the IM/FPs.
Average # of patients seen/day is 4-6.
