Lung Nurse Practitioner - (NP - Lung) Locum Tenens
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: Day Shift

NP needed with Pulm or Lung experience. A client in CA is looking for an NP that has worked in the Cardiac/Pulm Dept and has had exposure to Lung Transplant or Cystic Fibrosis. Full-time, 10-12 patients a day, EPIC EMR experience needed.

A lung nurse practitioner (locum tenens) assists physicians with caring for patients who are within lung pre-transplant, transplant, and post-transplant settings. A lung nurse practitioner also helps care for patients in post-thoracic surgery and pre/post stenting. They also work to help adjust patient medication regimens, issuing consultations, and providing general care when needed. A lung nurse practitioner works with physicians from Thoracic Surgery and Infectious Diseases, lung transplant coordinators, and respiratory therapists, among others, to effectively care for patients in ongoing settings.
