Urgent Care Nurse Practitioner - (Urgent Care -NP) Locum Tenens
New locum tenen opportunity for a nurse practitioner or physician assistant to work at an urgent care center in North Carolina starting in September. This outpatient urgent care clinic is looking for an advanced practice provider to help cover their permanent providers vacation dates of Sept. 9, 10, 22, and 23rd- all 8am-9pm. There are an average of 25-35 patients per day, Acute care experience preferred as well as experience with both adults and pediatrics are the patients vary from newborn to geriatrics. This is a typical urgent care center with bread and butter urgent care patients. Please call Staff Care for more details.

An urgent care nurse practitioner (locum tenens) provides care and clinical management of patients within an urgent care setting. These practitioners manage a multitude of responsibilities to include; recording patient history, performing physical examinations, prescribing medications, diagnostic testing, and developing treatment plans. An urgent care nurse practitioner also will participate in case management and continuing care for patients.
