Locum Tenen Opportunity for a Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to provide home health assessments in Plano Texas. Our client is looking for temporary Advanced Practice Professionals to conduct home health assessments in their client's home. The provider will do a review of systems, history, physical exam as well as any indicated screenings. The provider will be responsible for delivering or mailing (where applicable) collected specimens to lab drop off locations, complete and accurate documentation of all present and observed diagnoses for each member as well as educating patients and/or families about preventive care, medical issues, and use of prescribed medical treatments and/or medications. A primary care nurse practitioner (locum tenens) diagnoses and treat patients, order diagnostics, conduct physical exams, interpret x-rays and other tests, and also educate patients on maintaining proper health. In addition to a nursing license, a primary care nurse practitioner holds a certification as a nurse practitioner, and typically a master's degree. A primary care nurse practitioner works with physicians on duty to help evaluate and treat patients.
