Nurse Practitioner and Physician Assistants needed for home health assessment work in New York. This locum tenen assignment begins in June and will extend well past the summer. Our client is seeking 15-20 full time advanced practice providers. A primary care nurse practitioner (locum tenens) diagnoses and treat patients, order diagnostics, conduct physical exams, interpret x-rays and other tests, and also educate patients on maintaining proper health. In addition to a nursing license, a primary care nurse practitioner holds a certification as a nurse practitioner, and typically a master's degree. A primary care nurse practitioner works with physicians on duty to help evaluate and treat patients.
