Primary Care Nurse Practitioner - (NP-Primary Care) Locum Tenens

Nurse Practitioners are needed to provide home health assessments throughout Louisiana beginning in December. The schedule is Monday through Friday and all visits are scheduled from 8a-5p; however, flexible scheduling is available. There is an average of 4- 5 assessments per day with a total of 15-20 assessments per week. Training and supplies will be provided.

A primary care nurse practitioner (locum tenens) diagnoses and treat patients, order diagnostics, conduct physical exams, interpret x-rays and other tests, and also educate patients on maintaining proper health. In addition to a nursing license, a primary care nurse practitioner holds a certification as a nurse practitioner, and typically a master's degree. A primary care nurse practitioner works with physicians on duty to help evaluate and treat patients.

Required Qualifications
Louisiana license is required.
Adult, Geriatric or Family Medicine experience.
