Job Description
The Opportunity
-Nurse Manager has the ability to articulate a compelling, actionable vision for the unit/department
-Facilitates teamwork and unit pride by advocating for an environment that promotes high patient care standards
-Manager has the authority, accountability, and responsibility for the management of patient care within their respective areas
-Areas of responsibility will include nursing practice, personnel management, staff development and positive customer relations
-Thoroughly understands and monitors financial performance of the unit/department
-Advanced certification in field of specialty preferred. A minimum of two years clinical experience in an acute pediatric setting
-Previous management experience preferred. Current BLS; PALS, ENPC or NRP certification
-Pediatric hospital and ranked as one of the best places to work by Modern Healthcare
