Job Description
MedTrust is hiring an experienced Quality Assurance Nurse with critical care background to be a part of our nursing staff at the San Antonio Military Medical Center (SAMMC).
Schedule: 40 hour work week, Monday-Friday, 7:30am-4:30pm, no weekends/no holidays.

Working directly with nurses on documentation to clinical standards, risk management, patient safety standards and staffing effectiveness. Involvement with TJC accreditation process, standards for patient care processes. Ensuring nursing assets are in compliance with TJC. Facilitates plans to improve patient care plans, medication management and assist in building performance based improvement programs.
Qualifications:
BSN or MSN Nursing degree, broad based clinical nursing background with at least 3 years experience in the Intensive Care Unit along with Quality Management experience.
