Job Detail:

The Family Birth Center is a full service birthing center with 13 birthing suites where the RN will be responsible for antepartum, labor, delivery, post-partum, and mother-baby care. RN is responsible for ensuring medical and emotional needs of the patient are met throughout the entire birthing process. They are a BABY FRIENDLY™ hospital designated by the World Health Organization and UNICEF.

The Registered Nurse must be a graduate of an accredited School of Nursing or equivalent and currently licensed to practice in the State of California. At least 1 year of current labor and delivery experience is required. Must have knowledge of hemodynamics and basic IV skills, and a thorough understanding of fetal monitoring equipment and tracings. Excellent assessment skills, above average critical thinking skills, the ability to work in a fast- paced and often stressful environment, and the ability to work autonomously are essential. Must have completed basic life support certification within 30 days from the date of hire. ACLS and NRP will be required within 6 months of hire.

PACU and scrub skills are highly preferred
