Job Description
Education and Work Experience
RN, BSN preferred. Current unrestricted licensure
Evidence of continuing education in occupational health
5 years experience in an occupational health services, preferably in an industrial (non-hospital) environment
Experience in Wellness and Prevention initiatives and implementation (Prevention & Wellness Services)
3 years managerial or team lead experience
Experience in Six Sigma/Lean process strongly preferred
Experience in working in large, matrixed organization
Experience with EMR, occupational health information systems
Experience with data tracking, analyzing and trending as well as reporting information to GE Disability Lead and the site interface administrator
CDMS, CRC or CCM (Productivity Services)
Experience in Disease Management program/Behavior Modification (Prevention & Wellness Services)
Competencies

Interpersonal skills and negotiation skills
Expertise in wellness program implementation
Expertise with corporate EAP programs and referrals.
Ability to prioritize and direct resources appropriately
Ability to work with and under the direction of the GE site Interface Manager, GE Employee Health and Productivity Program (contract) Administrator, GE Medical Program Lead and Global Nurse Manager – Clinical Operations & Services
Ability to work with multiple customers within GE and demonstrate; customer focus and satisfaction
Ability to manage cross functional teams and represent GE’s vision

Function as a proactive team with occupational health group, productivity services group, prevention and wellness group, site fitness center personnel and business Health Ahead champions to stabilize and improve targeted health condition.
Targeted conditions - Behavioral Health, Cardiovascular, Diabetes/Metabolic Syndrome and Musculoskeletal - Large Joint/Back or OA/RA. These conditions may be modified annually based upon GE Healthcare, Workforce Availability and Disability data.
Perform Needs and Risk analysis that assess physical, psychological, economic, and environmental issues.
Provide Employee (Dependent) education and support to Increase compliance to the doctor’s plan of care and prescribed medications Patient-centric health management goals and education which may include primary prevention, behavior modification programs, and support for concordance between the patient and the primary care provider.
Encourages patients to have a provider relationship where they receive ongoing primary care in addition to specialty care.
Complements the physician/practitioner and patient relationship and plan of care across all stages, including wellness, prevention, chronic, acute and end-of-life care.
Addresses cultural sensitivities and preferences of individuals from disparate backgrounds.
