Are you interested in being in charge at a BRAND NEW Women’s Hospital in the Raleigh, NC area? Do you have experience in Women’s Health (L&D or OBGYN) and want to grow with a great health system? Here’s your chance!

We are seeking a RN Manager for our BRAND NEW Women’s Hospital which will open in May 2015. We are in need of a strong leader with 5 or more years of leadership experience, and direct clinical experience in OBGYN or L&D. This position will be instrumental in working closely with the VP/Administrator to hire and develop the talent pool of clinicians for the north hospital so 3 or more years’ experience hiring and training would be ideal. A BSN is required, and a MSN or Master’s degree is preferred. Advanced certification is also preferred.

The new hospital will be starting out with 62 beds total and they hope to grow to about 200 beds. There will eventually be up to 100 FTEs. This position will be reporting directly to the VP at this time.
The Unit Nurse Manager has 24-hour responsibility at the unit level for planning, facilitating, coordinating, and evaluating patient care services, personnel, and budgeting process. The unit nurse manager understands the needs of the organization and supports the mission, values, and management of patient care services.

Experience Requirements :
5 or more years of leadership experience, and direct clinical experience in OBGYN or L&D.
Education Required :
Bachelor's degree in Nursing and National Certification in Nursing required. Master's degree in Nursing or related field preferred.
Licensure/Certification Requirements :
Currently licensed as a Registered Nurse in the State of North Carolina with no substantiated findings.
