- Travel Nursing Opportunity for a L&D RN in Salem, VA!
- We are seeking a qualified RN to work in the Labor and Delivery unit! L&D Nurses offer the skills needed to provide quality care to the Labor & Delivery patient, working as part of the healthcare team, collaborating with physicians and other nurses to assess mother and baby during the perinatal period to develop a specific care plan. L&D RNs have the ability to perform all nursing duties in accordance with the state nurse practice act while adhering to all facility policies and procedures. L&D nurses provide effective communication to patient/family, team members, and other healthcare professionals for all Labor & Delivery patients. Nursery nurses play a pivotal role in the care of newborns and young children. Nurses who work with newborns are often called neonatal nurses, while those who treat young children are better known as pediatric nurses. Nursery nurses may fit into either category, and many care for both newborns and toddlers. We cant wait to hear from you!
