Cardiovascular Operating Room Nurse - (Cardio - OR - CVOR RN)

This position presents an opportunity to join an elite team of passionate physicians and nurses within the Operating Room (OR) unit. A team of highly passionate physicians and nurses deliver truly compassionate care in an environment that seeks to involve patients in each step of their healing process.
Cardiovascular operating room nurses (CVOR RNs) work as part of Surgical Services/OR, a specialized area that treats only open-heart (cardiovascular) patients. The CVOR RN works in cardiovascular operating rooms, assisting surgeons with tasks such as surgical procedures, operating cardiopulmonary bypass / heart–lung machines, and administering and monitoring anesthesia during operating procedures. CVOR RNs also perform cardiovascular patient care, clinical problem solving, quality monitoring, and coordination of care for the CVOR.
Required Qualifications
CA LIC
BLS
ACLS
2 YRS OR Exp with Cardiac experience
