Medical Surgery Nurse - (Surgery RN)
StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 8/12 D/E/N

This Med/Surg unit sees both medical and surgical patients. Diagnoses medical, surgical, urology, diabetes/renal, surgical bariatrics, transplant, ortho, GI, GYN, vascular, cardiac, and neuro. This is a float position to all units.

Must Have:
BLS
ACLS
PALS
TELE EXP

Preferred Skills:

Start Date: ASAP

Shift: Schedule 84-88 hours per two week pay period. Guarantee 60 hours per two week pay period. 8 hour & 12 hour shifts. Rotating Day, Evening, and Nights

Will be floated to units (Medical, Med/Surg, Laulima).


Often referred to as the backbone of adult-care facilities, medical-surgical nurses are responsible for all adult patients receiving medical or surgical care. The med-surg RN typically works in the following settings:

• Hospitals
• Outpatient facilities
• Home care
• Urgent care
• Long-term care Because they generally care for a large amount of patients at any given time, medical-surgical nurses face a wide variety of health conditions.
