Welcome to this fantastic Medical Surgical (MS) unit, where compassionate care meets top notch technology and innovative care teams bring the best of themselves to their patients. You can expect a wide variety of conditions as this unit is a combination of acute and observation patients. Monitoring and interventions are provided for patients at risk for altered skin integrity, falls, minor cardiac and pneumonia, among other conditions. This unit prides themselves on a comfortable and comprehensive experience for all patients and they are looking for a team based MS RN to join their elite group



Often referred to as the backbone of adult-care facilities, medical-surgical nurses are responsible for all adult patients receiving medical or surgical care. The med-surg RN typically works in the following settings:

• Hospitals
• Outpatient facilities
• Home care
• Urgent care
• Long-term care Because they generally care for a large amount of patients at any given time, medical-surgical nurses face a wide variety of health conditions.

Required Qualifications
MO or COMPACT lic
2 YEARS MED/SURG EXPERIENCE IN THE LAST 3 YEARS
BLS, ACLS


Preferred Qualifications
DIABETIC MANAGEMENT, LAB INTERPRETATION
