7a-7p, 2-7p-7a 13 week contracts available.
1:2-3 ratio

Compact State License
BLS, PALS
Pediatric experience
PICU Experience

To provide quality nursing care to patients by assessing, planning, educating, implementing, and evaluating age appropriate care in a manner that incorporates family centered principles and cost effective care. To utilize PICU knowledge and experience to efficiently collect selected data from patient charts.
Required for completely satisfactory performance in this job is a knowledge of the principals of biological, physical, and social science; observation, assessment, intervention, evaluation, care and counsel; health teaching of persons who are ill; health or prevention of illness; administration of medications or treatments; administration, supervision, and evaluation of nursing practices, policies, and procedures; developmental (age-appropriate) nursing practices.

Required for completely satisfactory performance in this job is the ability to demonstrate positive and appropriate interpersonal skills; demonstrate good time and resource management skills; demonstrate flexibility; demonstrate strong oral and written communication skills; operate unit specific equipment.

The formal education normally associated with completely satisfactory performance in this job is:
Bachelor of Science in Nursing, Associate Degree in Nursing, or Diploma in Nursing
Bachelor of Science in Nursing is preferred.
Current licensure with the Board of Nurse Examiners for the State of Texas.
Completion of quality training and certification through the National Outcomes Center within 3 months of initiation of data collection.
