Job Details:

The facility is a 200 bed acute care and residential facility, is located in Petersburg, Virginia, 20 minutes south of Richmond and 50 minutes north of North Carolina. Situated on 25 acres, our serene, nature-like setting offers the patients a sense of calmness and peace. For more than 30 years the facility has been guided by its mission of helping those who need the full continuum of behavioral services. The facility offers behavioral and psychological treatment for adults and adolescents through our acute programs, adolescent residential programs, sexually abusive youth services, as well as programs for active duty military.

The facility is currently seeking a Director to manage the Utilization Review Department and processes for our acute and residential programs. This position will ensure all patient records are in compliance with Tricare, Medicare, Medicaid, and other insurance provider requirements in order to receive reimbursement for services provided. The Director is responsible for staying up to date with any regulatory changes related to documentation and educating staff (i.e. case managers, therapist, nurses, physicians, etc.). Position supervises six full time staff. Successful candidates will be driven, detail oriented, and have excellent communication skills.
