Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist - (CRNA) Locum Tenens
We're currently searching for a CRNA in Arizona! Assignment is Monday through Friday, providing coverage at a busy surgery center. Provider will perform approximately 15 to 20 cases during each 8 hour day.
A certified registered nurse anesthetist (locum tenens) administers anesthesia in surgeries as required by, or in the absence of, an anesthesiologist physician. A CRNA will look at patient history in a preoperative setting in order to determine an optimal course of action, choosing the techniques and drugs that best suit the patient's unique physiology and medical history. During surgery, it is the CRNAs job to administer anesthesia and manage the patient's reactions accordingly.
Required Qualifications
Procedures are scheduled every 30 minutes with an expected 16 patients a day. Two full-time CRNAs will be working with you.
