Fantastic opportunity for an experienced Cath lab, RN to join an award-winning 120-bed acute care hospital located near Tampa. The current hospital offers a medical staff of more than 150 physicians, representing 27 medical specialties, including bariatric weight loss, cardiology, emergency, gynecology, neurology, orthopedics, surgery and urology, the hospital helps its patients live longer, healthier and better lives. Responsibilities include: Evaluates assigned patients and plans, implements and documents nursing care. Assists physicians during examinations and procedures. Performs various patient tests and administers medications within the scope of practice of the registered nurse. Promotes patients' independence by establishing patient care goals and teaching patients and families to understand conditions, medications, and self-care skills. Relies on experience and judgment to plan and accomplish goals. Performs a variety of tasks. A wide degree of creativity and latitude is expected. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Qualifications: Requires an associate's degree and is certified as a registered nurse with a minimum of 1 year experience Familiar with standard concepts, practices, and procedures within a particular field. Must have 500 hours of Open Heart in a high risk PCI Lab. Situated in the beautiful rolling hills of Central Fl.
