Director of Inpatient Services NC Hospital 40 miles from Durham Description JOB DUTIES: Twenty-Four hour accountability of 32-bed Medical-Surgical Telemetry department and 6-BedIntensive Care Unit,including: quality management, communication, resource management and leadership. Utilizes the nursing process including: assessment, planning, implementation, evaluation and recording of patient care. Teaches delegates and supervises other nursing staff in the provision of nursing care. Coordinates services with other members of the healthcare team to provide complex patient care. Practices within the scope of the North Carolina Nurse Practice Act and Person Memorial Hospital policies/procedures/standards Qualifications REQUIREMENTS: BS required, Masters preferred. Well experienced leader with proven background and track record in patient satisfaction, staff satisfaction, productivity and quality. A current and valid NC Registered Nurse license with a minimum of 5 years clinical experience.
