Job Description
Registered Nurse (Dialysis)
To monitor the Hemo-dialysis equipment as it removes waste and excess fluid from the blood. Perform venipuncture and other phlebotomy responsibilities according to license and training as requird for certification. Monitor ulrafiltration during blood circulation through the machine for regularly scheduled periods of three or more times a week for 4 hours or more. Coordinate inmate care and follow-up activities with department medical, nursing, ancillary and support staff, as necessary. Monitor and ensure the institution dialysis clinic meets State licensure requirements for a dialysis center. Produces a written nursing treatment plan for each inmate as well as regular dialysis run reports, within 24 hours after treatment.
Qualifications
Nurses shall be licensed in accordance with the requirements of the Arizona Revised Statutes.
Registered Nurses are needed at both locations working for The Arizona Department of Corrections
