An esteemed Hospital in Pinehurst, NC is looking for a best in class Permanent MD for a Critical Care assignment. Quick Facts: Specialty(s): Critical Care ; Facility Type: Hospital; Location: Pinehurst, NC. Job Description: Start-up physician practice seeking Board Certified Critical Care physician for a permanent position. Will be joining 3 other physicians in new practice. 2+ years’ experience as an Intensivist is preferred. Active North Carolina state license, DEA is required. Work site is a semi-closed ICU with 50 critical care beds, supported by a team of 7 seasoned mid-levels. Patient volume is unknown d/t this new practice. Dedicated Hospitalists and Nocturnist on staff. Back up includes Neuro Hospitalist, Geriatric service, Pediatric Hospitalist, and telehealth. Sub-specialties include GI, Cardiology, Pulmonary, Neurology, CT surgery (TAVR). EP etc. Coverage needs will begin as soon as you are credentialed. Conducive block scheduling with 7-on/7-off model that promotes work-family balance. Compensation includes a very competitive salary based on experience, quality bonus up to 10%, sign-on bonus, loan repayment option, relocation allowance, CME reimbursement and other professional expenses, malpractice coverage that includes tail, and full comprehensive benefits package.
